Therapies

What we do at Espacio Enlaza

Every session starts by listening. Depending on what you need that day, Ana can combine these techniques into a treatment made for you.

Massage

8 techniques

Thailand · with oil

Thai oil massage

The most enveloping version of Thai massage: on the table and with natural oils, combining pressure and long strokes to release the muscles deeply.

Thailand

Thai massage

An age-old technique combining pressure and assisted stretching, in comfortable clothing, to release tension and regain mobility.

Japan

Shiatsu

Ancestral Japanese massage using finger and palm pressure along the meridians to balance energy and relax deeply.

Japan · face

Kobido facial massage

Japanese facial massage with quick, rhythmic movements that softens the expression, boosts circulation and brings light to the skin, with a natural lifting effect.

Taoist tradition · abdomen

Chi Nei Tsang

Abdominal massage working the belly, where tension and emotions gather, with a soft, deep touch guided by the breath.

Circulatory

Lymphatic drainage

Soft, rhythmic movements that support circulation and the lymphatic system. Eases fluid retention and the feeling of heavy, tired legs.

Head, neck and feet

Craniofacial massage and reflexology

Detailed work on the head, face and neck, together with foot reflexology. Eases neck tension, clears the head and helps you slow down.

Wooden tools

Wood therapy

Massage with wooden tools of different shapes that helps drain fluid retention, shape the contours and work on cellulite. Depending on what you need that day, I combine the wood with manual drainage techniques.

Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine

A Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that works specific points along the meridians to restore the body’s balance and the free flow of energy, or Qi. It is used as support for physical pain and muscular tension, and for imbalances of the nervous system such as stress, anxiety or insomnia. Sterile, single-use needles and an individual assessment before every session.

Somatic tools

Body awareness

Tools aimed at growing body awareness and listening: noticing the body’s sensations and patterns, and using body and breath resources to support regulation and presence. They can be woven into one-to-one sessions.

Breathwork

Conscious breathing

Guided, conscious breathing. Through different breathing rhythms the body slows down, the mind clears and space opens for whatever you need to let go of. One to one or in a group.

Sessions are shaped around what brings you here: depending on the need, different techniques can be combined.

What you take from a session

  • Relief from pain and tension
  • A calmer nervous system
  • Rest, wellbeing and relaxation
  • Support for your body’s own recovery processes
  • A space to listen to yourself

It all starts in the body.

About me

Ana Fernández

Eastern therapies always drew me in for their holistic view: the idea that everything is connected and that health is understood by looking at the whole person.

I began with shiatsu and Thai massage, and they captivated me so much that I wanted to go deeper. That led me to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, and later to round out my training with breathwork and other tools for regulating the nervous system. On top of that base, I keep adding further training and courses every year.

Today I accompany people and offer tools to recover wellbeing and return to balance, from physical pain and tension to imbalances of the nervous system such as stress, anxiety or insomnia. These complementary techniques let me support you as a whole — the physical, the emotional, the mental and the energetic — so you can come back to your centre and live in coherence.

The symbol

Every line tells part of the story

The Espacio Enlaza logo is not decoration: it sums up the way Ana works. Hover over each element to see it in the drawing.

  • The dots

    Five dots, five elements

In Traditional Chinese Medicine everything is explained through five elements that feed one another. The dots also recall acupuncture points along a meridian. Inside the circle they grow as they descend until they rest on the axis: energy coming down into the body.

    WoodFireEarthMetalWater

  • The axis

    The spine, the central channel

A vertical line joining sky and earth. It is the spine, the posture and the central channel through which energy flows. The whole session is organised around that axis.

  • The circles

    The three treasures

Three circles, one inside the other, like the three treasures of Chinese medicine: essence, energy and spirit. They can also be read as body, emotion and mind, three layers of the same person treated together.

    Jing · essenceQi · energyShen · spirit

  • The link

    Everything meets at one point

The three circles and the axis meet below, at a single point of support. That point is the idea of enlazar, to link: joining what is separate and putting your feet back on the ground. That is where the name and the motto come from, from the body.
